लॉकडाउन दरम्यान आर्थिक अडचणीत असलेल्या सदस्यांसाठी सिंटा (CINTAA) चा देणग्यां गोळा करण्याचा प्रयत्न

२१ दिवसांच्या लॉकडाउनमधून भारत जातोय आणि यामुळे  चित्रपट आणि टीव्ही कलाकारांचे उदरनिर्वाह गमावले आहे. सिने अँड टीव्ही आर्टिस्टेट्स असोसिएशन या इंडियन ट्रेड युनियन अ‍ॅक्ट अंतर्गत नोंदणीकृत एक स्वयंशासित संस्था असून त्यांनी जनतेला व त्यातील ए-लिस्टर सदस्यांना राशन व मदत निधी देण्यास आवाहन केले आहे.

“सिंटामध्ये खूप मर्यादित कोष असल्याने,आम्ही पैश्याने समृद्ध संस्था नाही. ह्याचाच एक विभाग आमची चॅरिटेबल उप ट्रस्ट, सिने आर्टिस्ट वेलफेयर ट्रस्टचा  (सीएडब्ल्यूटी) देखील निधी संपत आहे. ” असे सीएनटीएए च्या वरिष्ठ सह-सचिव आणि आउटरीच कमिटीचे सभापती -अभिनेते अमित बहल यांनी सांगितले. “आम्ही आमच्या सर्व सदस्यांना आणि ए-लिस्टर्सना आम्हाला रेशन व काही निधी दान मदत करण्यास सुरूवात करण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे.  आम्ही सिने आर्टिस्ट वेलफेयर ट्रस्टच्या खात्याचा क्रमांक आणि आयएफएससी प्रसारित केला आहे  त्यांना ८०G सर्टिफिकेटचाही लाभ मिळेल. ”

यापूर्वीच प्रतिक्रियांचा वर्षाव सुरू झाला आहे. आम्हाला कळले आहे की सिंटा (CINTAA) चे अनेक ज्येष्ठ व सुप्रसिद्ध अभिनेते त्यांचे अपील व्हिडिओ पाठवित आहेत. सदस्य, ए-लिस्टर्स आणि जनते व्यतिरिक्त, सिंटाने I & B मंत्रालय आणि महाराष्ट्र सरकारकडेही संपर्क साधला आहे आणि संकटकाळात प्रसारकांना पैसे देण्याची विनंती केली आहे. "साधारणपणे, ९० -१२० दिवसाचे चक्र असते जेथे पेमेंट्स क्लिअर केले जातात," बहेल म्हणाले.

सिंटा (CINTAA) च्या स्वतःच्या कोषामधून असोसिएशनने त्यांच्या गरजू सदस्यांना मदत करण्याची प्रतिज्ञा घेतली आहे. ते रेशन पॅकेट बनवित आहेत आणि त्यांचे वितरण करीत आहेत. तसेच. प्रत्यक्ष गरजांनुसार २००० / - प्रति सभासद भरपाई देखील दिली जात आहे. “सुरुवात झाली आहे. आम्ही आमच्या सदस्यांना मदत करण्यासाठी सर्वोपरी प्रयत्न करीत आहोत, ”बहाल यांनी पुष्टी केली.

दुबईमध्ये अडकलेल्या सचिन जे.जोशी यांची भारतातील गरजूंना मदत

२१ दिवसांच्या लॉकडाउनच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर अभिनेता-उद्योजक सचिन जे. जोशी यांनी मानवतेच्या सेवेसाठी कार्य करत असलेल्या सरकारी कर्मचारी आणि सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्यांना पाठिंबा देण्याचे वचन दिले. बिग ब्रदर फाउंडेशनबरोबर त्यांचा आवडता प्रकल्प म्हणून, सचिनने सक्रिय पोलिस कर्मचारी आणि म्युनिसिपल कामगारांना उबदार पौष्टिक जेवण देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.

“शहरात सतत नजर ठेवणारे पोलिस, रुग्णालयांमधील डॉक्टर,नर्सेस व पॅरामेडिक्स, म्युनिसिपल कर्मचारी वेळेवर जीवनावश्यक वस्तू आणि २४  तास पाणीपुरवठा करणे सुनिश्चित करतात. तसेच ट्रॅफिक पोलिस  इतर सैन्याने दलासह  बंदोबस्ताचे कठोरपणे पालन केले जात आहे हे सुनिश्चित करत आहेत., ”सचिन जे. जोशी म्हणाले.

बिग ब्रदर टीमच्या सदस्याने स्पष्ट केले की, “जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय किंवा पोलिस त्यांना त्याच दिवशी एका तासाच्या आधी आणि आवश्यकतेनुसार अन्नाची आवश्यकता असलेल्या क्षेत्राची माहिती देतात आणि आम्ही आवश्यकता पूर्ण करतो,” बिग ब्रदर टीमच्या सदस्याने स्पष्ट केले.

भारतात लॉकडाऊन झाल्यापासून दुबईमध्ये अडकलेल्या सचिन जे. जोशी यांनी तेथून संस्थेच्या कामकाजाचे समन्वय साधले. याबद्दल ते म्हणाले, "माझ्या भारतातील व्यवस्थापकांची टीम माझ्या सूचनांनुसार काम करत आहेत. माझ्या हॉटेलच्या शेफना या सर्व तयारीसाठी आवश्यक ती मदत आमच्या कारखान्याच्या कर्मचारी करत आहे. ते सर्व आवश्यक सुरक्षा उपकारांनासह सुसज्ज आहेत. आम्ही आमचे सर्वोत्तम प्रयत्न करीत आहोत, आम्ही सर्वोपरी प्रयत्न करीत आहोत, विशेषत: त्या लोकांसाठी जे ह्या दिवसात उपासमारीशी झुंज देत आहेत आणि  वाहतुकीचा कोणताही मार्ग नाही तरीही घराचा परतीचा  प्रवास करत आहे.  खेदजनक बाब म्हणजे महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान, गुजरात आणि एनसीआर-दिल्लीची छोटी शहरे आणि खेड्यांना आवश्यक रेशन मिळणे अशक्य आहे. आम्ही त्यांनाही मदत करत आहोत. "

सचिन जे. जोशी यांची पत्नी उर्वशी शर्मा ज्या ह्यावर घरातून पर्यवेक्षण करीत आहेत, त्या म्हणाल्या, “मी भारतात आहे आणि या सर्व कार्यवाहीचे परीक्षण करण्यासाठी, मदत करण्यासाठी दररोज संपर्कात आहे. माझे पती आणि आमची संपूर्ण टीम आमचे सर्वोत्तम कार्य करण्यासाठी निःस्वार्थपणे प्रयत्न करीत आहोत! अशा प्रकारच्या परीक्षेच्या वेळी माणुसकी आणि संवेदनशील असणे महत्वाचे आहे. आपल्या येणाऱ्या पिढ्यांसाठी आपण एक उदाहरण मांडण्याची गरज आहे.

Sonu Nigam To Hold Online Concert For Every Indian In Support Of PM Modi’s “Iconic” Request For Janta Curfew/Social Distancing; Takes To Social Media

If there is one singer that can stand out, it is none other than the talented and extremely versatile Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam! Having won hearts the world over, Sonu Nigam, as a celebrity and an influencer, has always made it a point to be vocal about issues concerning his fellow countrymen.

In a 30-minute address to nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on the citizens of India to prepare so that the nation can combat challenges posed by the COVID-19 viral outbreak. Emphasizing on the urgent need of the hour – Social Distancing, National Film Award recipient Sonu Nigam supported the PM’s move as he took to social media, requesting the masses to adhere to the PM’s “iconic” address.

“During this curfew, we shall neither leave our homes, nor get onto the streets or roam about our localities,” addressed the Prime Minister, adding that to be prepared to combat challenges posed by viral outbreak, there is an urgent need and emphasis on “social distancing”. Lauding the intelligent move, Sonu Nigam explained that the Covid-19 has a lifespan of approximately 12 hours. “And the Janta Curfew is for 14 hours, a masterstroke that no other country except India will attempt!"

Sonu Nigam felt that in order to beat the virus, the only way was the every Indian joined this curfew. “I join both hands in reverence to the people of the Shaheen Bagh protests including mothers and sisters. Jaan rahegi toh awaaz rahegi,” said Sonu Nigam, literally translating to you can only voice your opinion if you stay alive! In a humble request to Swara Bhaskar, Anurag Kashyap and Asaduddin Owaisi among others who have supported the Shaheen Bagh protestors, he averred that the health issue has gone over politics! “This is an issue for the society and humanity, not politics. I urge you to ask them to stall protests till there is a cure for the Coronavirus. They (protestors) will listen to you."

Sonu Nigam, who is unable to reach his homeland as he is stranded in Dubai with his family, added, "I sincerely urge all of you to support 'Janta Curfew' this Sunday from 7am to 9pm and let's curb this pandemic successfully at this stage. Stay safe and take care.”

Sachiin J. Joshi Pledges Girl Child Education, Takes To Instagram For Support

The cause of the education to the girl child has been close to number of people. Social organizations and governments have been working since the dawn of women empowerment to ensure that the education-shunned female diaspora does not endure discrimination. One such personality is acclaimed actor-entrepreneur Sachiin J Joshi, who took to his social media handles with the following statement. “After seeing a heart touching video, I learnt that only one in hundred girls in rural India are allowed to study in schools. The right to education is denied to majority. I pledge towards the empowerment of our female counterparts!”  

“It’s an oath. An honest commitment. I pledge to support 100 girls with their education to begin with, through the Big Brother Foundation. It is absolutely true when they quote – Educate a girl child and she will change the world,” says Sachiin J. Joshi. After establishing himself down South, the actor went on to star in Aazaan, a 2011 action thriller that marked his debut in Bollywood. He then went on to star in numerous films including Jackpot opposite Sunny Leone, Veerappan opposite Lisa Ray and Usha Jadhav and the recent Hindi horror-thriller Amavas opposite Nargis Fakhri and Mona Singh among others.

The actor asks for the support of the masses so that he can make this big. “Even if one person who reads this, shares this and/or does the same, it will make a huge difference!” With a target of empowering a thousand girls, he believes that, “slowly and steadily, we can change the world for the better,” as he begins his philanthropic endeavour with hundred rural girls to begin with. The actor has expressed his desire to support girls from rural Maharashtra as well.

Opining with the possibility that even a single educated and empowered female can change the lives of everyone around them, Sachiin firmly believes, “They will be the little lamps who light themselves and will then light the world.”
